Life Path #8, Lucky # 14.... 2014, that is.

Religious - I am not.
                   Spiritual - without a doubt.

In the spirit of the new year, I decided that 14 was my lucky number. 14 - standing for the last two digits of the new year ahead of us *2014*.
I have always been fascinated by metaphysics - astrology, crystals and tarot have been subjects that have interested me since my early teens and now in my thirties I have discovered numerology.
After deciding that 14 would be my new lucky number for the year I went to look up the spiritual/metaphysical significance of the number 14. While glancing at various websites -I  kept seeing information about the meaning of ones' life path number. So I decided to calculate mine.
***8 ****

Here are the key points of being an "8" that resonated strongly with me.
Strife and struggle is considered normal to an 8, but you experience it more than any other Life Path Numbers.

-You do not have much tolerance for people who feel sorry for themselves. An 8 who sees someone suffer will likely say, “Look, I’m sorry that happened to you. Now get up.” This is ironic, since 8’s often see themselves as the victim.

-tend to learn the hard way

-feel deeply about everything that goes on in their lives

-very ambitious and goal oriented. You have strong organizational skills and broad vision which make you successful in business.

So I found a new area of metaphysics to explore. (I wonder if my winter session algebra class had anything to do with it?)
I know some of you think all this stuff is crazy. You are entitled to think that. Honestly the statement that "8's" seem to have lots of conflict(more so than other life path numbers) made me feel like my strife in life could somehow be less my fault and more my life path number's fault. This discovery gave me a sense of explanation for negatives and simultaneously gave me hope for possible good things to come.

I hope for (20)"14" to have a positive significance for you all.
